Develop the Plan
A carefully laid out design plan must be implemented
in order to save time, effort and money. Through the initial use of our request
proposal form which you fill out, we get a basic understanding of what you
are trying to accomplish from the very start. We can then work with you to help
you define your goals, and how to measure success for the project.
Site Arts can then develop a web site design plan and proposal that includes:
• The goal of the web site design
• The tone of the web site design
• An outline of the content of the web site design
• A chart of the organization of the Web site design detailing how navigation will occur
• A detailed estimate of the total cost to develop your web site
Domains and Hosting
Site Arts, Inc. offers domain name registration and web hosting services for your web site. We offer very affordable, high quality service.
Choosing the right domain name can be critical to the success of a web site. People remember web sites by their domain names and your domain name can also affect your ranking in search engines. Site Arts, Inc. can help you carefully select your domain name and set it up for you. This is the URL (address) of your web site.
Once your web site has been launched, you will find yourself telling people your Domain Name several times a day, both in conversation and on the phone. A domain name is very inexpensive and and there is no reason not to put forth the effort to select and purchase the right domain name.
Your web site will need to be hosted on a web server. Hosting on a our web servers maintains a constant, fast connection to the Internet. The Web is a large collection of web sites, hosted on web servers all over the world. The web server is where your web site's html files, graphics, etc. reside and is known as the web host.
Design the Site
Based on the information that we have gathered and upon your acceptance of our proposal, we begin the web site design process. The objectives of the web site and budget are clearly defined and this is where vision becomes reality. We request that you make available all materials that you may have used for your business. We will need written content if available and all graphics, logos and photos.
Site Arts will post layouts in our secure client area for your review, comments and approval. Client input becomes critical at this point. Our goal is to express your business insight in a visual format that will deliver the results you desire.
Final Approval and Completion
The final site is posted on our servers and you are asked to make a Final Review of the project. Any suggested alterations will occur at this time.
Remaining deposit is due upon final approval of web site design. After payment has been received, copyright information is removed and the site is launched to your server.
Site Maintenance
Site Arts allows 30 days after site launch for minor alterations and changes free of charge. We have maintenance plans and support options available depending on your needs.
Web sites in the commodities market typically have greater demands to keep products updated. These clients usually prefer a monthly fixed-fee for service option. This provides the opportunity to update product information, maintain search engine optimization, incorporate newer software and graphics technologies, and keep the marketing presentation current. With this option, the site is maintained and upgraded on an on-going basis, rather than a total revamp at some point in the future.
Service Web Sites, on the other hand, have less demand for immediate updates. These clients usually prefer support services on a time and materials basis. Upon your request for a modification, we will provide you with a cost summary prior to performing the work. If new site maintenance becomes more routine, we would be able to provide the service to you at a fixed-fee.
